It's that time of year: Happiness, joy, sleigh bells, sunshine and snow. With a Charlie Brown's Christmas vibe, folk-pop duo Big Little Lions release three holiday tracks that celebrate the season in unique and memorable ways.

"That Time of Year" brings a light piano lounge aesthetic to the season of Christmas cheer. On "Bring the Snow" the JUNO winning duo empathize with those that never see snow, and long to have a winter wonderland away from the beach. "Light It Up" closes out the EP as the pair – who work thousands of kilometres apart (Helen Austin in BC, Canada and Paul Otten in Ohio, USA) – imagine the promise of families, friends and lovers being together this holiday, even if they're currently apart.

Big Little Lions' music is regularly featured in commercials, TV shows and movies, they were nominated for their seventh Canadian Folk Music Award this year, and were chosen as an official showcase artists at 2022's Folk Alliance International. In the months since the lifting of health protections, they've toured BC, Ontario, Ohio and more.

At this time of year, these songs bring happiness and joy, to each girl, boy and everyone else.
