Big Little Lions, the folk-pop duo of Helen Austin (Royston, BC, Canada) and Paul Otten (Sprinboro, OH, USA), came together as a Happy Accident. Their collaborations have earned a JUNO award, a John Lennon songwriting prize, and have been featured in numerous commercials, films and TV shows.

Living thousands of kilometres apart, they were used to working remotely, but they had always enjoyed coming together to tour their multi-instrumental frenetic live shows. With those shows cancelled during the pandemic the duo pledged to release a single a month, not just to keep themselves sane, but also connected.

This album is made up of those singles - songs of separation, songs of friendship and of love. Songs that only exist because of a Happy Accident.

For fans of: Sufjan Stevens, Of Monsters and Men, Firewoodisland, Little Chief, Rivvrs, Tow'rs and The Lumineers.
